Concept
The guest rooms that are seen throughout Chateau du Jour are an extension of what guests see when they first enter the hotel. The rooms are still funky, but a bit toned back, introducing the idea of warmth and coziness. The colors are warmer, more neutral tones, with some pops of color, such as blush pink and burnt orange, being added in with other materials. This space is meant to allow guests to take a break and relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. It provides a kitchenette, where guests can fix a morning coffee or a nice dinner, and a lounge space, where they can put their feet up and get their minds off of things. The bedroom is around the corner, which allows for a sense of privacy from the rest of the space. The bathroom that is included in the space acts as an oasis, bringing in rich greens and tans. The entire space is also ADA-accessible.
